Job title: INTERNSHIP - Analysis Tools Development Engineer (M/F)

Within the Design & Development department, you will contribute to the development and improvement of digital tools dedicated to the post-processing of data from finite element injection simulations on large automotive parts. You will also contribute to the development of digital tools for the geometric optimization of automotive plastic parts.

Desired start date: February 2027 Duration: 6 months

Main responsibilities

• Analyze the tools currently used within the Injection & Tooling department.

• Develop and improve analysis and calculation tools (Excel, VBA, Python) to enhance their performance, reduce data preparation time, and automate certain tasks.

• Develop new tools for post-processing and analyzing calculation results, particularly through graphical and statistical representations.

• Improve spreadsheet interfaces and propose new interactive features to facilitate data preparation and result visualization.

• Enhance finite element mesh generation scripts based on the geometric optimization of thermoplastic parts.

• Develop automation functions (Excel, VBA, VBS, Python, or APIs) to facilitate data transfer and conversion between different software platforms (CAD and simulation).

• Contribute to improving the reliability of predictions from AI-based simulation tools.

• Candidate profile

• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Applied Mathematics, Industrial Computing, or Mechanical Engineering.

• You have an advanced level of English (B2/C1).

• You have a good command of the Windows environment, Excel, and web-based interfaces.

• You have strong programming skills, particularly in VBA and Python 3.0. Knowledge of VBS and APIs would be an advantage.

• You are rigorous, persistent, curious, and have strong analytical and summarizing skills.

• You are well-organized, enjoy working as part of a team, and are able to prepare written materials in English.
