About the Role An Accounting Intern supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR), you will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This role offers hands-on experience in core accounting processes, exposure to ERP systems, and collaboration with experienced professionals. You will assist in maintaining smooth workflows, supporting month-end activities, and helping the AP and AR teams achieve operational excellence. What You'll Do
- Accounts Payable (AP): Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices; ensure timely and accurate posting; maintain vendor records; resolve discrepancies; support month-end closing activities for AP; assist the AP team in daily operations including handling queries and preparing reports.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Prepare and issue customer invoices; follow up on invoice transmission; record incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts; monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections; support month-end closing activities for AR; assist AR team in managing customer accounts and resolving payment issues. What We're Looking For
- Ongoing university studies in economics/finance
- IT skills: MS Office; SAP FI is a plus
- English – Intermediate; Italian – Advanced
- Analytical and logical thinking
- Initiative / pro-activeness; Self-motivation, positive attitude
- Willingness to work in an international environment; Team player attitude Nice to Have
