International Shipping Coordinator
12 Month+ Contract | 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM ET |
Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for an International Shipping Coordinator for a 12-month+ contract. This position involves various aspects of raw material and finished goods handling. This includes but is not limited to the processing of Domestic and International Sales orders and consolidated shipments to our International Distribution Centers. Assists Export Coordinator with preparing applicable export documentation for international shipments. Also provides transactional support to relieve inventory upon shipment within the ERP system
Responsibilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience processing domestic and international shipments
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and/or trade management systems
- Knowledge of international shipping/export documentation
- Ability to identify and properly process dangerous goods, following IATA and DOT regulations
- Experience scheduling pickups and coordinating with freight forwarders
- Experience with invoicing and shipment/inventory transactions in an ERP system
- Ability to investigate and resolve shipment and inventory variances
- Experience coordinating consolidated international shipments is valuable
- SAP Experience is highly desired
- Continuous improvement/process improvement mindset

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
