About the Role International Sales Engineer for Silvus Technologies (Motorola Solutions) based in Singapore. This 100% remote role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to deliver tailored radio and mesh networking solutions for mission-critical applications, with travel up to 50% for customer engagements and demonstrations. What You'll Do
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including system planning, customer training, and system optimization
- Become an expert on Silvus' radio and networking solutions and its competitive advantages
- Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations
- Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training
- Troubleshoot failures and abnormal situations in the field; collect/analyze field data and provide feedback to the development team
- Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support sales and BD activities
- Help design engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems; help drive future product development
- Perform other related duties as needed
- Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations
- Role is 100% remote; candidates must be based in Singapore What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 2 years pre- and post-sales technical support experience OR minimum secondary education with at least 6 years related experience
- Proficiency with RF instruments (signal generators, spectrum analyzers)
- Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing)
- Must be based in Singapore; willingness to travel to potential conflict areas in support of radios
- Experience with IP radios/modems, Linux, TCP/IP networking, and knowledge of wireless communication systems is preferred
- Knowledge of RF signal propagation and digital communications technologies
- Programming exposure in C/C++ is a plus
- Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills Nice to Have
- Experience operating/testing IP radios/modems
- Familiarity with Linux
- Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking
- Knowledge of wireless and RF propagation concepts
- Exposure to C/C++ programming
