About the Role Internal Travel Nurse - Emergency Department (Casual Relief Positions Available) based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role provides emergency nursing coverage as an internal travel nurse within Nova Scotia Health, supporting ED operations on a casual relief basis.
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department while on temporary/relief assignments.
- Collaborate with ED team members, physicians, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
- Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care in accordance with NS Health policies.
- Adapt to staffing needs across sites as an internal travel nurse.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse with current license in Nova Scotia or eligibility for licensure.
- ED or acute care experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-centred care skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous internal travel nursing experience or relief nursing experience in ED.
