About the Role The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine seeks physicians to join the Internal Medicine practice in Cincinnati, OH. This role sits within the Primary Care Network, which comprises 15 clinical sites serving more than 100,000 patients, with affiliation to University of Cincinnati Physicians and access to tertiary specialists. Rank and compensation will be based on experience and academic credentials. What You'll Do
- Diagnose diseases or study medical conditions using techniques such as gross pathology, histology, cytology, cytopathology, clinical chemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology.
- Write reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions.
- Identify the etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of diseases.
- Analyze and interpret results from tests.
- Document findings, plan, and actions taken according to departmental guidelines and standards.
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant medical/legal issues that impact on patient care.
- Maintain records and statistics in accordance with departmental guidelines and standards.
