Internal Control Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and monitor internal control systems, policies and SOPs
• Conduct stock audits, process audits and compliance
• Monitor inventory stock variances, wastages, damages, and adjustments
• Identify operational risks, control gaps and process weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions
• Review transactions and documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance
• Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile findings with system records
• Monitor adherence to approved procedures, authorization limits and segregation of duties
• Investigate irregularities, losses and control breaches and escalate significant findings
• Track implementation and closure of audit recommendations
• Prepare internal control, audit and compliance

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 3—6 years' relevant experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Risk or Compliance

MANDATORY:

• proven experience working in a manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of inventory control, audit procedures and compliance monitoring
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• ICAN/ACCA qualification is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
• High integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
