Job Summary
- The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring a strong internal control environment. The position will work to foster standardization and consistency across the company's business processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Deliver timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies
- Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevant audit findings.
- Spot, assess, and address risks and translate it into impact analysis.
Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting
- ICAN qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' practical experience, 2 of which must be from manufacturing companies.
Qualities:
- A critical thinker and highly organized.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with the ability to navigate the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Sound presentation skills.
