Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control processes.
- Review financial transactions, payment requests, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy and authorization.
- Identify operational and financial risks and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Conduct routine checks and internal reviews to detect errors, irregularities, and potential fraud.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping across departments.
- Monitor inventory, assets, procurement, and expense management to prevent losses and misuse.
- Investigate reported control breaches and discrepancies and escalate findings to management.
- Prepare periodic internal control reports, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure identified control weaknesses are addressed.
- Collaborate with other departments to strengthen accountability and operational efficiency.
