Internal Control Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• CasaLavoro Real Estate is seeking a detail-oriented and highly ethical Internal Control Officer to strengthen our internal control, risk management, compliance, and financial monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor internal controls, policies, and SOP compliance.
• Review property sales, payments, refunds, expenses, and vendor transactions.
• Conduct periodic and surprise audits/checks across departments and project sites.
• Identify control gaps, fraud risks, and irregularities and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare internal control reports and track closure of audit findings.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in internal control, internal audit, risk, or compliance.
• Real estate/construction experience is an advantage.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of accounting/ERP or CRM systems.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or CISA is an added advantage.
• High integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Remuneration

Competitive and negotiable, based on experience.
