Internal Communications Manager IV

Linda Werner & Associates
United States Posted Oct 12, 2026
Full-time

About this role

Seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to support a leading global technology company and its portfolio of widely used consumer applications.

This is a highly visible opportunity for a strategic, versatile communications professional who thrives in a fast paced environment, partners confidently with senior executives, and knows how to turn complex information into compelling, clear messaging.

As part of the Internal Communications team, you will work across multiple product organizations, supporting leadership communications, organizational strategy, product launches, and important company initiatives. The ideal candidate brings exceptional writing skills, sound judgment, strong project management capabilities, and the flexibility to quickly step into existing programs while navigating shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies that support senior leaders, organizational priorities, and business initiatives.

  • Partner with senior executives to shape leadership narratives, provide strategic communications counsel, and deliver effective employee messaging.

  • Write, edit, and develop compelling communications covering organizational strategy, product launches, company milestones, and operational changes.

  • Create proactive and responsive communications supporting organizational announcements, strategic initiatives, and program rollouts.

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners, including Legal, Human Resources, Operations, and global teams, to ensure messaging is accurate, consistent, and aligned.

  • Support high visibility internal events, including company All Hands meetings, leadership forums, and employee Q&A sessions.

  • Manage multiple communications projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines, stakeholder expectations, and evolving priorities.

  • Quickly learn new business areas, transition between product organizations, and take ownership of established communications initiatives.

  • Implement measurement and analysis strategies to evaluate communications effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain strong attention to detail, organization, and timely execution while operating independently with minimal oversight.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

6+ years of professional experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of dedicated internal communications experience.

Demonstrated experience advising, counseling, and influencing senior executives.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a proven track record of translating complex business and technical information into clear, engaging communications.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities.

Experience developing strategic messaging and communications for diverse internal audiences.

Ability to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders in a dynamic, high pressure environment.

Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the confidence to take initiative with limited direction.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting product communications within a technology or consumer products organization.

Experience developing communications for globally distributed or hybrid workforces.

Background in public relations, journalism, branding, or communications campaigns.

Experience supporting companywide meetings, executive presentations, employee forums, or major organizational announcements.

Familiarity with communications measurement and effectiveness analysis.

This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple high profile consumer technology products rather than supporting a single business unit. You will collaborate directly with senior leadership, help shape messaging around important business decisions and product initiatives, and contribute to communications that reach employees across a global organization.

We are looking for someone who can bring both strategic thinking and hands on execution, quickly establish credibility, and deliver meaningful results from day one.
