Internal Auditor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct financial, operational and regulatory compliance audits.
- Review internal controls, identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Carry out pre-payment and post-payment audits.
- Prepare audit reports and monitor corrective actions.
- Support the development of audit policies, procedures and risk management frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant course.

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience (internal audit or public accounting). ICAN qualification or membership of an IFAC-recognised professional body. Experience in designing and reviewing internal controls.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and Sage. Strong analytical, communication, report-writing and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of IT and e-business auditing.

Flexibility to travel occasionally.
