- Internal Auditor position in Manufacturing industry (location Nigeria).
Section: Responsibilities
- Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans
- Assess internal controls across procurement, production, inventory, sales, payroll and other functions
- Conduct routine, surprise and special audits
- Verify inventory, raw material usage, production output and scrap/reject rates
- Investigate suspected fraud and irregularities
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
- Recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and ISO 9001 standards
Section: Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CIA, ACA or ACCA certification required
- Minimum of 5 years’ internal audit experience
- Manufacturing or FMCG experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of internal audit and risk management frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems and audit software
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, objectivity and attention to detail
