The opportunity:

Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.

Program details:

An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora's career growth opportunities.

2027 Program dates:

• June 14 - August 20, 2027

• Working hours: 36hrs/week, Monday - Friday, PST

• July 6 - July 9, 2027: Intern Optional Summer Shutdown

Position title:

Intern, Technology, Global Platforms

Your role at Sephora...

As the Intern, Technology, Global Platforms, you will support the development of global platforms and building AI agents/skills.

What you will accomplish:

• Product feed data hygiene: catalog attributes, taxonomy mapping and QA
• Builds feed monitoring and error reporting across domains
• Enhance the Shade Factory web application functionality including AI Developer tooling
• Build AI Agent/Skills for supporting project tracking
• Support the Sephora OneTech Community on AI-SDLC tooling
• Support platform development testing, documentation and the reusable regional playbook
• Present automation prototypes, technical findings, and optimization recommendations to engineering and operations stakeholders.

Qualifications & experience:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Foundational programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, or a comparable language.
• Basic understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, cloud computing, containers, or CI/CD concepts through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
• Ability to break down problems, learn unfamiliar technology, document work clearly, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interest in AI infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, developer experience, or distributed systems.
• Exposure to one or more cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code or CI/CD tools, containers, observability concepts, secure software development, or AI/ML platform technologies.

Eligibility requirements:

• Graduating in 2027 or 2028 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
• Work schedule must align with 9-5PM, Pacific Standard Time
• Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
• Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions
• Available from June 14 - August 20, 2027

What You’ll Get: The target hourly pay for this position is $30.00 - $30.00. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
