Intern – Occupational Health & Safety (m/f/d)
Are you a motivated student or young professional interested in workplace safety, risk prevention, and creating a safer working environment? Join Gerresheimer Skopje as an Intern in Occupational Safety & Health and gain valuable hands-on experience in a modern manufacturing environment.As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Operational Safety team and support activities related to occupational health and safety, accident prevention, and continuous improvement of workplace conditions.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the Occupational Safety team in daily activities related to workplace safety and health
- Assist in workplace inspections, safety checks, and identification of potential hazards
- Participate in risk assessments and support the implementation of preventive measures
- Help prepare safety documentation, reports, and statistics
- Support the organization of safety trainings, awareness campaigns, and internal communication activities
- Assist in investigations and analysis of incidents and near misses
- Support the preparation and maintenance of safety-related records and documents
- Contribute to improvement projects focused on creating safer and more efficient workplaces
- Collaborate with different departments to promote a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
- Your Profile
- University student or recent graduate in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Technical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- Strong interest in occupational health and safety and industrial processes
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety regulations is an advantage
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good knowledge of English and MS Office tools
