Job title: Intern - High Income Portfolio Monitoring (Investment Department)
About the Role Support the High Income team within the Investment Department in portfolio monitoring and management of the assets. This internship provides exposure to fixed income and credit strategies and hands-on experience in the investment process.
What You'll Do
- Provide quantitative and analytical support to Fund Managers investing in funds managed by the High Income team within Credit Strategies.
- Participate in the setup, evaluation, execution, and management of an investment's lifecycle through new issue and secondary transactions.
- Perform fundamental research on High Yield transactions and relative-value analysis to reach investment conclusions and make recommendations.
- Track bond spreads and price movements of securities held in portfolios.
- Produce periodic sector updates and daily market information, as well as ad hoc client and internal presentations.
