About the Role Siemens Energy Grid Solutions' Tenders & Projects Asia Pacific internship based in Sydney offers an opportunity for a 6–12 month program starting February 2027, with part-time or full-time options for current university students. The role supports across project and tender management, data analysis, and business operations, collaborating with Sales, Tendering, Project Execution and Leadership to deliver grid solution projects. What You'll Do
- 50% Project & Tender Lifecycle Support: Assist Project and Tender Managers in preparing documentation for grid solution projects and bids; support tracking of milestones, deliverables, and deadlines; help coordinate communication and meetings between engineering, sales, and project management teams; contribute to materials for project reviews and tender submissions; explore AI-enabled process improvements.
- 30% Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyze technical, commercial, or market data to support decisions; assist in creating reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management; maintain and update internal databases with accurate data.
- 20% Business Operations Support: Provide administrative and operational support for departmental initiatives and meetings; assist in documenting and improving internal processes; support cross-functional information flow; help plan events and customer roadshows. What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical), Business, Commerce, or Project Management.
- Strong academic performance is required.
- Demonstrated interest in energy, technology, or infrastructure sectors through coursework, projects, or activities.
- Programming skills and ability to use and work with AI tools.
- Excellent analytical, initiative, and collaborative skills.
