Job title: Intermediate Enterprise and Systems Architect/Modeler

About the Role The intermediate Enterprise and Systems Architect/Modeler will support architecture and modeling of complex, critical defense systems within the DEM&S ecosystem for a major Canadian defense acquisition project. In collaboration with the Department of National Defence, this role includes creating enterprise and system diagrams/models, managing requirements traceability, and performing verification and validation. MBSE techniques will be applied to develop architectural frameworks and modeling environments that support strategic decision-making and lifecycle asset management.

What You'll Do

• Develop enterprise and system diagrams and models for defense-critical systems within the DEM&S ecosystem, using SysML and architecture framework methodologies.
• Create architectural representations describing critical systems, requirements, interfaces, operational scenarios, and use cases; manage requirements traceability and the impacts of changes.
• Apply MBSE techniques; perform verification and validation of requirements and system interfaces.
• Collaborate with the Department of National Defence and multidisciplinary teams to ensure complete system representation, architectural coherence, and integration with other artifacts and tools in the DEM&S ecosystem.
• Emphasize safety first: demonstrate a 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviors in support of a world-class safety culture.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences, or a technologist diploma.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and MBSE techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or naval systems.
• Ability to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance, citizenship required and continuous residence in Canada over the past 10 years.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• MBSE experience and SysML familiarity; experience with modeling tools and defense-domain projects is a plus.
