Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

What this job involves:

JLL Design Solutions is seeking a curious, creative Interior Designer to join our interiors studio in the Texas market, contributing to smart, innovative and on-brand environments within our national workplace practice. You will coordinate design and technical solutions across multiple concurrent projects, moving between creative ideation, documentation and client presentation. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees — and this role puts you at the center of that work, owning concepts from first sketch through contract documents while building strong client relationships and partnering closely with your Studio Lead and team.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop creative design concepts and measure them against the creative brief.
  • Lead concept development, present solutions to clients and coordinate contract documents with Project Manager oversight.
  • Extract client needs, define solutions and document outcomes with precision.
  • Communicate ideas clearly through written, drawn and verbal means.
  • Apply strong space-planning skills that balance efficiency with innovation.
  • Research applicable building codes and accessibility guidelines, including Texas TDLR requirements.
  • Collaborate regularly with your Studio Lead and team members.
  • Manage several concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Travel to project sites as needed (approximately 10%–20%).

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience on commercial interior design projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
  • Fluency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and accessibility guidelines, including Texas TDLR requirements.
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
  • Confident visual communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Passion for design with the ability to think conceptually and realistically.
  • Openness to feedback and a mindset geared toward continuous growth.
  • A collaborative, culture-building approach to teamwork.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
