About the Role Adjunct faculty position in Interior Design within the undergraduate program at California Baptist University. This role supports teaching and program development in the College of Architecture, Visual Art, and Design, with an emphasis on integrating Christian faith into learning.
What You'll Do
- Teach courses in the undergraduate Interior Design program. Specific course assignments will be determined by the applicant's qualifications and program needs.
- Engage with students to support learning and professional development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and program activities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Terminal degree in Interior Design or a closely related discipline (preferred).
- Candidates working toward a terminal degree or with significant professional experience may be considered.
- Commitment to the mission of California Baptist University and to excellence in teaching with integration of Christian faith.
- Demonstrated history of quality university teaching or substantial professional engagement and strong relational skills.
Nice to Have
- A strong portfolio submission is required (PDF portfolio or link to website portfolio).
- Alignment with the California Southern Baptist Convention's Baptist Faith and Message (June 14, 2000) as indicated in supplemental questions.
- Experience teaching at the university level and engaging in professional practice in Interior Design.
