Job title: Intercompany Accountant
We are seeking an Intercompany Accountant to manage intercompany accounting activities, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements within an international Global Business Services team based in Agordo (BL). This role emphasizes automation and collaboration to support a rapidly growing business.
What You'll Do
- Manage intercompany (IC) flows, including recording of journal entries (JE) and Accounts Payable IC postings.
- Oversee, propose and enhance automated IC processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Design and implement new IC flows in response to evolving business needs.
- Prepare and approve account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Complete month-end close activities, maintaining tight deadlines and high standards.
- Oversee consolidated financial statement reconciliations at the intercompany level.
- Contribute to audits and provide relevant documentation as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting in multinational companies or consulting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and intercompany reconciliation.
- General experience with Financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle HFM) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-country teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and automation.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
