What You Will Do
- Lead and manage complex intellectual property matters for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Develop and implement strategic IP initiatives that align with client business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on IP-related issues, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Conduct thorough IP audits and assessments to identify risks and opportunities for clients.
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff in best practices for IP management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in IP law to provide informed counsel.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 8+ years of experience in intellectual property law with a focus on litigation and transactional matters.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IP portfolios for clients across various industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused mindset.
Preferred
- Experience working with international clients and understanding of global IP laws.
- Background in technology or life sciences industries, enhancing the ability to serve specialized clients.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a law firm or legal department.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $400K to $750K, commensurate with experience and expertise. The firm offers a competitive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees.
