About the Role Anduril is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to join our maritime team. You will help advance Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) by leading integration and testing efforts, ensuring systems meet requirements and performance standards, and supporting field operations. What You'll Do
- Drive the development, review, and execution of comprehensive test plans for development, integration, and acceptance testing
- Author and/or review detailed operational test reports documenting the execution of internal and customer-facing tests of AUV platforms and capabilities
- Participate in design reviews, requirements analysis, and system verification planning to ensure compliance with project goals and industry standards
- Build, support, and maintain a test and evaluation program that may be subject to Government test & evaluation standards
- Support day-to-day test operations for our product platforms or subassemblies, including pre-mission testing, launch and recovery, vehicle tasking, and data analysis (internal and customer-facing)
- Support the integration of subsystems (sensors, navigation, propulsion, communications, autonomy software, power) into a complete AUV
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs in the field
- Support pre-mission and post-mission logistics to enable successful test operations
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers throughout product design, integration, and testing
- Set up, collect, and refine operational metrics
- Support local sea testing and offshore operations (multi-day)
- Support demonstration test events (including multi-week travel) What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in systems engineering, integration, and test
- Experience contributing to TRRs, Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and software development concepts
- Experience in field-test and operational environments
- Electronics troubleshooting experience and ability to use basic test equipment
- Proficiency with Linux, command-line interfaces, and software debugging tools
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for broad audiences
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of time, with potential over 25% during key test campaigns/surges Nice to Have
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Hands-on mechanical build and troubleshooting experience on development hardware
- Experience developing mechanical/electro-mechanical systems in fast-paced R&D
- Ability to design, draft, and build systems independently
- Experience operating and testing complex systems in a maritime environment
- Experience integrating subsea sensors, underwater navigation, and communications systems
- Experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment
- Data analysis skills: Python, MATLAB, R, SQL, PromQL
- Experience managing a test and evaluation program
- Experience in maritime offshore operations Compensation & Benefits
- US salary range: $99,000 – $130,000 per year
