Key responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end operational support for Structured Products and SPV activities, from launch to redemption and lifecycle events.

• Manage securitisation activities, including trade issuance, processing, and lifecycle management.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (Fund Administrators, Custodians, Paying Agents, etc.) to ensure seamless operations.

• Investigate and resolve complex trade issues while acting as a key liaison between Business, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and external stakeholders.

• Analyse workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and client experience.

• Drive process enhancements, support ongoing projects, participate in new business initiatives, and perform user testing.

• Ensure adherence to Middle Office risk and control frameworks, maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.

• Produce regulatory reports, perform control checks, manage reporting exceptions, and support the implementation of new regulatory requirements.

• The team

• You’ll be working in the Global Market Middle Office in Hong Kong: The team provides critical operational support across the trade lifecycle, including transaction processing, controls monitoring, reconciliations, reporting, and stakeholder management.

• Global Market Middle Office is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient front-to-back processing across supported businesses and products. The team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational integrity, manage risk, and support business growth. Team members are expected to balance day-to-day operational responsibilities while actively contributing to process, system, and control enhancements.

• Your skills and experience

• Bachelors/Master’s degree or equivalent

• 2-3 years of experience working in IB operations, Cash Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives middle office, settlement, or related areas

• have general knowledge of front to back processes for Structured Product and/or SPV products.

• ability to pick up new tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment

• good working knowledge of Excel, possess excellent quantitative and analytical skills

• pragmatic "can do" attitude and risk mindset, full accountability to take ownership and drive improvements

• self-starter who can learn and apply new knowledge very quickly

• dedicated team player who collaborates well with different functions

• good communicator, who can confidently convey information, both written and verbal, appropriately at all levels with stakeholders
