Role: Lead Microsoft's Integrated Lease Delivery (ILD) team across the Middle East and Africa, overseeing the delivery of leased datacenter capacity from deal execution through operational handover.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead regional teams and drive performance, quality, safety, and accountability.
- Translate global and regional strategies into local delivery plans.
- Coordinate with landlords, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Manage schedules, resources, risks, and delivery commitments.
- Develop and align ILD staff and vendor teams with regional demand.
- Oversee projects through milestones such as Ready for Service and Ready for Network Install.
- Work closely with design, security, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Champion Microsoft safety standards and improve construction/site coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven leadership of complex infrastructure, construction, or datacenter programs through operational handover.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred:
- Hyperscale datacenter, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure experience.
- Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, commissioning, operational readiness, and facility turnover.
