About the Role The Intake & Enrollment Specialist (Licensed) at Hamaspik Choice in Brooklyn is responsible for fielding inquiries from potential enrollees and assisting with the enrollment process, including Medicaid applications and recertifications, coordinating benefits and facilitating plan transfers. The role also provides language translation accommodations and communication assistance to members as needed. What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources and enrollees; respond to requests or concerns.
- Provide information, education and customer service to Hamaspik Choice referral sources and potential enrollees.
- Facilitate enrollment of new members by responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to Medicaid eligibility.
- Maintain knowledge of Hamaspik Choice network, referral sources and payer sources.
- Provide language translation and communication assistance as required.
- Ensure effective utilization of Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records in daily tasks. What We're Looking For
- NYS Accident & Health License.
- At least three years of experience in health care marketing management, preferably in managed care operations.
- High school diploma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational and public relations skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to speak effectively with members and employees.
- Autonomy, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation.
- Knowledge of NYS requirements specific to MLTC enrollment and marketing guidelines preferred. Nice to Have
- Knowledge of NYS MLTC enrollment and marketing guidelines (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $22-$28 per hour
- Onsite role in Brooklyn, NY
