About the Role
Johnson Matthey seeks an Insurance Lead to manage the global insurance programme and align the insurance strategy with the organisation’s risk profile. This is a leadership role focused on governance, stakeholder management and strategic risk coverage across the business.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage Johnson Matthey’s global insurance programme, including renewals, procurement and policy oversight
- Deliver the insurance strategy aligned to the organisation’s risk profile and business priorities
- Act as the main point of contact for global insurance matters, building strong relationships with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders
- Oversee claims management processes, ensuring effective handling, governance and compliance
- Coordinate insurance data, cost allocation, documentation and reporting to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with Risk and Resilience teams to assess exposures and optimise insurance coverage across the organisation
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience managing global insurance programmes within a complex organisation
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across functions
- Solid understanding of insurance principles and their alignment with risk and resilience strategies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities
- Ability to analyse information, provide practical recommendations and drive implementation
