Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, family-owned insurance agency that has served the Capital Region for over a century to help identify an Insurance Customer Service Representative.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls regarding insurance policies, billing, renewals, and claims

• Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and account updates

• Assist customers with claims-related questions and updates

• Explain coverages, deductibles, premiums, and policy details

• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, patience, and empathy

• Accurately document customer interactions and policy activity

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers

• Support daily office operations and provide exceptional customer service

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an insurance, office, or other client-facing environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen carefully and respond with professionalism and empathy.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and solid organizational skills when handling documentation and account updates.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy.

• Comfortable responding to time-sensitive customer needs and resolving issues with patience and composure.

• Capacity to learn insurance terminology, workflows, and related systems quickly.

• A trustworthy, service-oriented approach with the ability to build positive long-term relationships with customers.
