Instrumentation Services (Installation, Repair & Maintenance) II

MAIN FUNCTIONS

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instrumentation and control equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field instruments and control systems.
Install and terminate instrument cables, junction boxes, tubing, and associated equipment.
Inspect and test pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical instruments.
Perform calibration and functional testing of transmitters, switches, gauges, control valves, and related devices.
Troubleshoot instrument faults and identify causes of equipment malfunction.
Support installation and maintenance of PLC, DCS, SCADA, ESD, and other control systems.
Read and interpret instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
Carry out instrument loop checks and commissioning activities.
Replace defective components and restore instrumentation systems to operational condition.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, calibration, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Follow approved maintenance procedures, Permit to Work (PTW), isolation/LOTO, and HSE requirements.

Execute assigned instrumentation installation and maintenance work safely and efficiently.
Conduct inspections to identify instrument defects, deterioration, or abnormal conditions.
Use appropriate test equipment such as multimeters, calibrators, pressure pumps, signal generators, and other instrumentation tools.
Ensure instruments are calibrated within specified tolerances.
Assist with pre-commissioning, commissioning, shutdown, and turnaround activities.
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, operations, and control-system personnel where required.
Report equipment defects, maintenance requirements, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain good housekeeping and proper control of tools, spares, and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
OND, HND, technical certificate, or equivalent in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in instrumentation installation, repair, maintenance, calibration, or commissioning.
Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, LNG, or industrial process facilities is advantageous.
Knowledge of field instrumentation, control valves, PLC/DCS/ESD systems, and instrument calibration.
Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and instrument drawings.
Good understanding of HSE requirements, PTW, and LOTO procedures.
Ability to work effectively in plant, offshore, construction, shutdown, or maintenance environments.
