About the Role In this immersive program, you will lead GA's User Experience Design Immersive course, helping students transform into junior designers. This is a full-time, temporary position with a defined start and end date for this cohort, with potential for additional assignments but not guaranteed. What You'll Do
- Teach and facilitate in-class instruction Monday–Friday, approximately 8 hours per day, for the 10–14 week program.
- Prepare lessons and materials, dedicating a few hours per week to curriculum development.
- Collaborate with co-instructors or teaching assistants to provide timely, meaningful feedback.
- Work with GA staff to meet students' learning needs and styles.
- Guide students through developing a standout final project showcased to hiring managers.
- Foster a dynamic, collaborative, and positive classroom community.
- Inspire students to persevere while learning a new skill set. What We're Looking For
- At least 2+ years of experience in user experience design.
- Fluency in topics such as Figma, the UX Process, User Research and Personas, Usability Testing, UX Analysis, Information Architecture, Interface Design, Wireframing, Prototyping, Analytics and Optimization, Mobile UX, and/or HTML/CSS.
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of applicable experience in lieu of a 4-year degree.
- At least 2 years of practical experience within the last five years (3 years preferred); teaching experience not required.
- Good moral character and strong decision-making abilities.
- Strong language, mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills to ensure teaching effectiveness. Nice to Have
- Experience mentoring or leading cohorts; collaboration in a team teaching environment. Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: approximately $19,318–$22,538 for the duration of the program (USD).
- Remote-friendly with opportunities to teach across GA-supported locations; GA will cover travel-related expenses for qualified candidates; operating country restrictions apply (Remote from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore).
