Position Overview Prepare and teach one (1) section of ECON 6118, Python Programming 1 credit Teaches the basics of programming with Python: writing and executing Python programs, learning the core data structures in Python, interacting with data, acquiring skill in data manipulation and using Python to access web data and data from databases.

Duties and Responsibilities Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
