Position Overview

Prepare and teach one (1) section of ECON 1104, Principles of Macroeconomics 3 credits Course Description - Processes and determinants of overall economic activity and growth. National income accounting, determination of aggregate income, employment, and the price level. Money and banking, government monetary and fiscal policy, and international economics.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
