Job title: Instructor for Economics
About the Role The Instructor for Economics will provide instruction for Economics courses within the Business Technologies Department, including dual credit high school students, and will maintain office hours, teach extended day and hybrid/online courses on campus and at alternate locations. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, professional development, and recruitment/retention activities to support LIT's Shared Vision of Growth and Excellence.
What You'll Do
- Actively engage students in the learning process
- Maintain ethical and professional behavior
- Adhere to TSUS and LIT policies and procedures
- Participate in college service (committee work, advising/tutoring/recruiting)
- Teach classes in fall and spring (day/evening/weekend/Online), including dual credit/online courses
