About the Role The Instructor/Operator will ensure the integration, training and qualification of operators in the space-assembly workshop at the Dole site, while actively contributing to connector manufacturing. The role is key to delivering production that meets quality, cost, schedule, safety and environmental requirements.
What You'll Do
- Provide theoretical and practical training for operators, and maintain and update the skills matrix with certifications/qualifications.
- Support cross-training and increase team versatility in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Perform manual assembly of connector components and conduct self-inspections (visual, dimensional, electrical).
- Declare and analyze rejects and reworks, ensuring product quality and compliance.
- Contribute to project reviews for new products/equipment and update Work Instructions (FI).
- Collaborate with Quality and Methods for documentation control; read and analyze assembly drawings/plans.
- Apply quality tools and continuous improvement methods; utilize manual assembly techniques.
- Note: IPC-A-610 accreditation is appreciated; knowledge of manufacturing routings and self-checks is expected.
- Maintain a customer-oriented approach with rigor, initiative, and teamwork, showing dexterity and autonomy.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to train operators and develop polyvalence in coordination with the supervisor.
- Strong capability to read and analyze plans; familiar with quality tools and continuous improvement.
- Experience with manual connector assembly and performing self-checks (visual/dimensional/electrical).
- Experience declaring rejects/reworks and performing analysis; commitment to quality and conformity.
- IPC-A-610 knowledge is appreciated; knowledge of manufacturing routings and self-checks.

Nice to Have
- IPC-A-610 certification (appreciated).
- Experience in connector assembly or high-precision manufacturing environments.
