About the Role Installation Project Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest quality installation of Getinge equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions. The role partners with the Project Manager to coordinate order activities and ensures site readiness through customer meetings and resource scheduling. What You'll Do
- Perform installation training to Getinge certified contractors at customer sites
- Assist in the evaluation and certification of contractors
- Develop non-standard cost quotes
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Project Managers and Installation Project Specialists
- Conduct Pre-PO site inspections to identify non-standard requirements
- Conduct pre-installation site inspections to ensure installation site readiness
- Represent company interests at pre-installation meetings and interface with customers on work requirements and protocols
- Ensure quality installation services per established procedures, using proper tools, test equipment, and components
- Determine staffing levels for installations and schedule install staff
- Provide direction on installation of Getinge products for both union and non-union contractors with onsite presence required when needed
- Ensure all site labor is aware of site requirements (working hours, safety equipment and training, reporting structure, etc.)
- Provide feedback to Project Managers on contractor progress and capability
- Work closely with the designated Project Manager to coordinate all installation activities
- Perform installations when needed and verify equipment operation per manufacturer specifications
- Ensure equipment is fully operable for Service to complete Checkout and begin handling warranty calls
- Comply with all health and safety codes and procedures, as mandated by Getinge policies, customer/contractor requirements, and regulatory agencies
- Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers, contractors, and all Getinge personnel What We're Looking For
- Experience coordinating installation projects in a field setting with travel (approximately 80-85%)
- Ability to train and certify contractors and act as SME for project teams
- Strong site inspection, safety, and staffing planning skills
- Excellent communication with customers, contractors, and project teams
- Familiarity with installation procedures, equipment testing, and warranty handoff
- Ability to adapt to customer requirements and regulatory guidelines Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $43.00 - $47.00 per hour
