Job title: Installation Manager
About the Role The Installation Manager will supervise installations on Vancouver Island, ensuring a high-quality finish and a smooth transition from sales to installation. This role also supports the sales process with accurate measurements and documentation while mentoring team members and upholding Renewal's standards.
What You'll Do
- Measure openings and report accurate findings used in the manufacture of custom doors and windows.
- Supervise installations in your portfolio and ensure a successful finish.
- Support Design Consultants during the sales process by providing accurate measurements, materials lists, and work orders for installation crews.
- Provide installation solutions that match customer's expectations of cost-effective, installed window replacements.
- Adapt product specifications to installation requirements, utilizing a thorough knowledge of our product line.
- Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions; document solutions for future reference and training purposes.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics.
- Understand and adhere to the established Renewal processes and standards.
- Assist with installation and service work as required.
- Assist in the training of new hires in Sales, Install, Service, and Technical Measure.
- Provide accurate measurements and documentation in a timely fashion.
- Perform service work as required.
- Aid in maintaining warehouse stock levels and general warehouse management.
- Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and/or alternate installation techniques.
