About the Role Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking an Inspector II for the ANS Health & Public Service – Water practice in Akron, OH. The role focuses on field inspection, verification of plans and codes, and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulators to support safe, compliant project delivery. What You'll Do
- Provide daily site inspection reports to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes.
- Coordinate in the field with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, designers and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor and document contractor resource utilization (labor, materials and equipment) for field changes, and time and material work; assist with negotiation of basic field construction changes.
- Attend and participate in construction meetings, safety meetings/updates, and project site coordination meetings.
- Verify equipment and materials installation; measure and record pay quantities; review contractor's schedule; coordinate 3rd-party special material testing inspections.
- Review and provide input on potential change order issues; maintain project records including safety documentation and project photographic records.
- Conduct verification of field surveys and maintain a daily report of all work site activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience; in lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of construction-related experience.
- Compliance with company vehicle policy and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Solid negotiation and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions; high math aptitude.
- Ability to multi-task multiple priorities and strong time management.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $30 - $36 per hour (USD).
