Summary The Quality Technician is responsible for facilitating and supporting Quality Assurance processes and NFPA 1901, NFPA 1900, and/or ULC-S515 requirements, which lead to the reduction/removal of defects throughout the value stream.
Job Responsibilities
- Promote the expectation that team members will consider the impact of their work/actions on others and make deliberate decisions to act in ways which prevent rework or constraints on the process. The Quality Technician is a coach, cheerleader and player on the team.
- Promote systems and processes which enhance the team’s ability to meet customer expectations (NFPA 1901 regulations, Buy/Sell Agreements, UL requirements)
- Act as mediator when needed to clarify customer expectations and provide feedback to manufacturing supervision
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections of completed processes in designated buy/sell areas
