About the Role The Inside Sales role at JAS focuses on increasing revenue, gross profit, and market share by developing relationships with existing and new customers while advancing trade lane development, particularly Europe (Germany & Italy). You will build and grow the present customer base and establish new business relationships across targeted lanes.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by the company
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers & JAS network
- Focus on trade lane development (e.g., Europe – Germany & Italy)
- Prepare quotations for new and existing customers
- Generate leads by contacting potential customers by phone to introduce JAS products, services, and offers
- Maintain records of calls with relevant details
- Apply credit facilities on behalf of customers
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new business and manage implementation into operations
- Provide weekly activity reports and sales pipelines to NSM and update CRM
- Use the CRM to enhance sales activity (sending leads and quotations)
- Participate in sales and skills training
- Adhere to Sales Policy and KPI settings
- Promote the JAS Forwarding brand in the market
- Align with Credit Management Policy and ensure AR collection targets are met
- Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual growth targets
- Prepare monthly reports on P&L, new business, pipeline, and customer analysis
- Interface with prospective and established clients on operational issues
- Manage SOPs and quotations with clients as market conditions change
- Ensure compliance with all JAS Worldwide and governmental policies, directives, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Experience in inside sales, lead generation, and account growth within logistics/supply chain preferred
- Ability to develop trade lane opportunities and manage customer relationships
- Proficiency with CRM systems and ability to generate activity reports
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prepare quotations, SOPs, and coordinate with operational teams
- Knowledge of credit facilities and policy alignment
- Results-driven with ability to meet growth targets
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a team
