Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced psychiatrist to join their dynamic inpatient team in Raleigh, NC. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to clients with a wide range of mental health disorders. This role involves collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients in an in-patient setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medication as necessary
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts
• Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry and participate in continuing education activities

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school

• Completed residency in Psychiatry

• Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina

• Valid DEA license in North Carolina

• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
