Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatrist to join their dynamic inpatient team. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to clients with a wide range of mental health disorders. The psychiatrist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, contributing to a mission-focused environment supporting healing and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients in an in-patient setting
  • Offer support for outpatient services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage medication as necessary
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts

Compensation

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Pay Range: $325,000 to $345,000

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Completed residency in Psychiatry
  • Valid medical license to practice in Texas
  • Valid DEA license in Texas
  • Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
