Job title: Injection Press Operator
About the Role The Injection Press Operator is responsible for safely performing wax injection operations, inspecting wax patterns for defects, and maintaining quality in the production process. This role follows both customer and internal instructions and reports daily production quantities while adhering to safety and 6-S guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Safely and properly perform the wax injection operation.
- Visually inspect wax patterns to identify defects and maintain customer-required quality.
- Follow customer work instructions to properly operate tools.
- Follow internal work instructions to verify machine settings.
- Accurately report daily production quantities.
- Communicate any issues or defects to supervision.
- Follow all safety and 6-S guidelines for the area.
- Move between multiple machines while maintaining safety and quality.
- Operate and handle various injection tools on a press; manage heavy machinery as needed.
- Stand/walk for 8+ hours a day.
- Reach and handle activities at various levels: knee, waist, shoulder, overhead.
