Job title: Injection Press Operator
About the Role The Injection Press Operator will safely and properly perform the wax injection operation for precision castings, including visual inspection of wax patterns to identify defects and ensure quality. This role supports manufacturing by following customer and internal work instructions, reporting production metrics, and maintaining safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Follow customer work instructions to properly operate the injection tools.
- Follow internal work instructions to verify machine settings.
- Visually inspect wax patterns to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Accurately report daily production quantities.
- Communicate any issues or defects to supervision.
- Follow all safety and 6-S guidelines for the area.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to move between multiple machines while maintaining safety and quality.
- Constant use of both upper extremities; physical ability to handle various injection tools on a press.
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per day.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Reach/handle activities at various levels: knee, waist, shoulder, overhead.
- Willingness to comply with export control laws and regulations (ITAR/EAR) and be eligible to obtain the required export authorizations if applicable.
