About the Role Join Alstom as a Test and Validation Engineer (VTE) in Belfort, leading verification and validation activities for the Train Control and Monitoring System (TCMS). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in France and India to ensure high quality and compliant systems that enable greener, smarter mobility. What You'll Do
- Analyze functional specifications for coherence and traceability
- Write and review test cases and test records ensuring coverage of requirements
- Develop and execute tests to validate TCMS equipment functionality and performance
- Collaborate with V&V stakeholders to clarify, refine, and enrich test scenarios
- Interface with design teams to address non-conformities per the anomaly management process
- Interact with safety teams to justify implementation choices where needed
- Evaluate current validation methods and propose continuous improvement actions
- Contribute to innovative projects aimed at increasing reliability and sustainability of solutions What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree (Bac+5) with specialization in embedded software, automation or industrial computing
- Strong knowledge of software verification and validation activities and associated methodologies
- Technical skills in automation, electricity, schematics, electronics, information technology, embedded networks and testing methods (boundary testing, equivalence partitioning, etc.)
- Proficiency with tools such as Testand, Utest, ControlBuild, ClearQuest and Clearcase
- Ability to work effectively in a team and to operate in an international environment
- Proficiency in English to facilitate exchanges in multicultural teams Nice to Have
