About this role

Job title: Ingénieur généraliste, qualité ou amélioration continue

Syensqo is seeking a versatile engineer (quality or continuous improvement) with 10 years of experience in the chemical or agro-food industry to support site quality, drive performance through process improvements, and lead digital tools and SAP-related activities on site.

What You'll Do

  • Be a strong support element for the site services and lead the improvement of quality and continuous improvement processes to boost performance
  • Propose and implement digital tools and act as the site IT administrator for the applications used (Appsheet, Bluekango, AODOCS, Intranet, …)
  • Become the KEY USER SAP on the site
  • Assist the customers with questions, complaints, and needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on site, at headquarters, with customers and colleagues in other geographical zones
  • Ensure the quality of products supplied to customers

What We're Looking For

  • 10 years of experience in the chemical or agro-food industry
  • Generalist engineer with a focus on quality or continuous improvement
  • Strong ability to work in a team and partner with cross-functional services on site, at head office and with clients in other regions
  • Solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools (6 Sigma, 5S, AMDEC/FMEA, …)
  • Appetite for digital tools and new technologies
  • Ability to support customers and address their questions and needs and to guaranty product quality
  • Willingness to take on IT administration and SAP responsibilities on the site
  • Motivated, rigorous, adaptable; curious, critical thinking and initiative; team spirit

Nice to Have

  • SAP knowledge as a KEY USER
  • Experience as IT administrator for site applications (Appsheet, Bluekango, AODOCS)
  • Experience in customer support or handling client inquiries

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base annual salary in France: 50,000 – 62,500 EUR per year. The actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications and internal equity and may be higher or lower than the range shown.
  • Benefits include: access to a training platform for all employees; extensive maternity/paternity/coparental leave (16 weeks or more, depending on local regulations)
