About the Role Effective communication between Mexico - Germany and other Volkswagen consortium members. Lead, define and coordinate development activities in Audi Mexico related to the Q5 and new projects. Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software and ensure prototype vehicles meet Audi standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead, define and coordinate development activities in Audi Mexico related to the Q5 and new projects.
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Ensure prototype vehicle construction meets Audi standards.
- Analyze, identify, propose and implement technical solutions for Pre-Series and Series issues.
- Make decisions based on the project’s technical information.
- Effectively communicate Audi MX technical needs to various groups (SY-Team Runde, CFT, etc.).
- Lead escalation processes within technical groups in Audi MX (including reviewing and supporting development issues with suppliers).
- Support, prepare, document and analyze test results requested by Technical Development at Audi AG.
- Analyze, create and modify CATIA and CONNECT components.
What We're Looking For
- Analysis/ development of plastic components and interior parts.
- Interpretation of technical drawings, dimensional reports, specifications, standards and drawings.
- Knowledge of change management for Series and Pre-series.
- Development processes for new projects.
- Generation, modification and updating of 2D/3D models in CATIA / CONNECT.
- Analysis of components in CAD/CONNECT.
- Problem solving, project management and BOM structure interpretation.
- Software proficiency with CATIA / CONNECT, HYPER-KVSAVON, TEVONTI-REX, MBTSystem.
Nice to Have
- Prototype vehicle construction experience.
- Experience with automotive pre-series processes and supplier collaboration.
