Job Description

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is seeking a dedicated Information Technology Officer to join its dynamic team in Abuja, Nigeria.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and robust data security across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and workstations.
• Ensure the security of data and IT systems, implementing and monitoring security measures.
• Provide technical support to users, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
• Implement and manage IT solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and execution of IT strategies and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an IT Officer or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity principles, and IT service management.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Familiarity with the ECOWAS region is an advantage.
