Description: The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) position at MTSI will be responsible for implementing and maintaining information system security programs and ensuring compliance with security requirements for DoD/government programs. This role requires coordination with program teams, risk management, and ongoing security accreditation for systems with Full Scope Polygraph. Location: Annapolis Junction, MD.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, implement, and maintain information system security programs in accordance with DoD and federal requirements (RMF, NIST SP 800-53).
• Lead assessment and authorization activities, ensure continuous monitoring, and manage incident response for assigned systems.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure security controls are properly implemented and maintained.
• Maintain documentation and sustain compliance with polygraph-related requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active Full Scope Polygraph clearance with DoD program involvement.
• Experience with RMF and government security requirements; familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and related standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
