Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)
About this role
MTSI is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager to lead RMF lifecycle activities from system categorization through authorization to operate in DoD classified environments. This role is based in Washington, DC and requires working closely with government leaders and security stakeholders to ensure robust cyber risk management across multiple systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain authorization packages
- Coordinate with System Security Assistance (SCA) and Authorizing Official (AO) representatives to resolve findings and adjudicate risk
- Prepare systems for ATO, Interim Authority to Test (IATT), and continuous authorization
- Ensure implementation and validation of security controls per JSIG and NIST 800-53
- Track and remediate Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) and enforce accountability for corrective actions
