Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)

About the Role The Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) will oversee information security programs for a Department of Defense facility at Wright-Patterson AFB. This role ensures the protection of critical systems and data in alignment with applicable security policies and program requirements. What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate information security efforts across programs at Wright-Patterson AFB.
• Develop and implement security strategies, standards, and governance to protect information systems.
• Collaborate with program managers, cybersecurity teams, and external stakeholders to maintain compliance and incident response readiness. What We're Looking For
• Experience in information security program management and leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work onsite with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management practices (e.g., NIST RMF). Nice to Have
• DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
